Colossians..."Raised with Christ!"
"Jesus is Lord!"  How easily those words roll off our tongues as we sing or speak of Jesus Christ.  We who read the Bible and who receive wisdom from the Holy Spirit to understand its message know that following Jesus as His disciples means more than just confessing with our mouths that He died on the cross to save us from our sins.  Jesus is LORD!  While the world denies His Lordship, all who know Him as the eternal Son of God, who came in the flesh to deliver us from the kingdom of darkness, willingly and cheerfully desire to serve Jesus in every area of our lives because we have been miraculously "raised with Christ!"  By the power of His Spirit through the hearing of His Word, the Gospel, we have been brought into fellowship with God and with other believers.  Life in this world is now a calling, with Christ at the center of our thinking and our living.  Every day is an opportunity to fulfill our calling to live with Christ and for Christ, for the glory of our Father in heaven.  Life takes on new meaning when you have been "Raised with Christ!"
